These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of eligere.jp and your purchase of products sold under the Eligere brand.
The Site and Eligere brand are operated by Nodus Bleu Co., Ltd. (“Eligere,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Online Store Terms
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction in order to place an order.
You may not use our products, services, or Site for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
You may not interfere with or attempt to compromise the security, operation, or integrity of the Site.
2. Products
We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph our products accurately.
However, colors may appear differently depending on your screen, device, lighting conditions, and other factors.
Eligere bags are individually handcrafted using natural leather.
Because leather is a natural material, variations may occur in:
- Grain
- Texture
- Color tone
- Wrinkles
- Veins
- Natural markings
Slight variations in dimensions, stitching, placement, and finishing may also occur as a natural result of handcrafted production.
These characteristics are not considered defects.
Unless otherwise stated, product dimensions are approximate.
For example:
W 21cm × H 17cm × D 10cm
may vary slightly from one individually handcrafted piece to another.
3. Prices
Product prices are displayed on the Site.
Prices may be changed at any time without prior notice, but changes will not affect orders already accepted by us.
Any applicable shipping charges will be displayed on the product page or during checkout.
Customers may also be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
4. Orders
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of:
- Suspected fraud
- Pricing or product information errors
- Payment failure
- Inventory issues
- Shipping restrictions
- Other circumstances that make fulfillment impossible or impractical
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the applicable amount.
5. Payment
Payment is due at the time the order is placed.
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.
Payments may be processed by Shopify or third-party payment providers.
6. Made-to-Order Products
Some Eligere products may be made to order.
Production generally takes approximately 4–6 weeks, unless otherwise stated.
Because these products are individually crafted, actual production times may vary.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of significant delays.
Once production has begun, made-to-order products cannot normally be cancelled.
7. Shipping
Orders are shipped from Japan.
Estimated shipping and delivery times are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed.
Delivery may be delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
- Customs clearance
- Weather
- Carrier delays
- Local delivery conditions
- Import procedures
- Holidays
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
8. Customs Duties and Import Taxes
Customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, and similar charges imposed by the destination country or region unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Failure to pay such charges may result in the shipment being delayed, refused, or returned.

9. Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.
Returns or exchanges for customer convenience, including change of mind, personal preference, or incorrect size expectations, are not accepted.
Natural variations in leather and minor differences resulting from handcrafted production are not considered defects and are not grounds for return or exchange.
Damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped products will be handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
10. Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on the Site accurate and current.
However, typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may occasionally occur.
We reserve the right to correct errors and update information where appropriate.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including:
- Brand names
- Logos
- Product designs
- Photographs
- Text
- Graphics
- Layouts
- Videos
is owned by or licensed to Nodus Bleu Co., Ltd. unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or otherwise use Site content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
12. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Site:
- For unlawful purposes
- To infringe intellectual property rights
- To transmit malicious code
- To attempt unauthorized access to the Site or related systems
- To collect personal information about others without authorization
- To engage in fraudulent or misleading activity
- To interfere with the proper operation of the Site
13. Third-Party Services
Certain features of the Site may rely on third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, shipping providers, and other technology services.
We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties except where required by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nodus Bleu Co., Ltd. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of the Site or our products.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
However, this provision does not deprive consumers of any mandatory protections available under the laws applicable in their country or region of residence.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
